Week 14 Part B: Social Media Management Tools
Marissa pointed out that most of the systems offered a 30-day free trial. I like the option to try a few different systems before I decide on one.
Larissa noted that Buffer was the most affordable. They don’t
incorporate as many platforms, but for some small businesses, we do not need to have
that many when we are just getting started.
Karen highlighted that Sprout Social offers 3 different
types of accounts. She also noted that the $249 per month $249 per month and
includes everything in Professional plus: message spike alerts for increased
message activity, digital asset, and content library, chatbots with automation
tools, saved and suggested replies, Inbox rule builder for automated actions,
automated link tracking, and Twitter surveys to define CSAT or NPS. It seems
that if the system increased sales, it would be worth the investment.
Sabreena mentioned that $89 a month is a lot if your business
is only making a few sales a month. I agree that that could be a bigger
investment than some small businesses are ready to make, but if there is a dramatic
improvement in sales, it might be worth it.
