Week 12 Part A: Using Business Specific Online Tools

MEET UP Groups would be an excellent way to reach new customers and connect with others who are interested in artisanal products. I would use MEET UP Groups to host soap-making lessons. I could work with other local businesses to use their brick-and-mortar sites to host soap-making classes and demonstrations. Through partnering, I could cross-pollinate with other businesses that offer different products and services but have a customer base with similar demographics. For example, community farms, wineries, yoga studios, and painting parties might be businesses that would be interested in hosting a soap-making meet-up event. After the event, there would be items for sale and an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and suggest future events with different themes.

I feel this is the best option for my business because there is a clear demographic for these products and raising awareness of my brand with other small businesses could result in consignment opportunities and help grow my business.
