Week 6 Part A: Engaging Your Customers - FaceBook Strategy
2. Born and Raised California Shoe Co. did not offer items for sale on their page, and they haven’t posted recently. I found their page underwhelming and uninspired.
3. The Dollhouse Boutique also offered items for sale on their page. Their page was also very well maintained until October. The sudden stop in posting leads me to believe something has happened to their business owner or manager, perhaps an illness or change in management?
4. Sweet Cheeks Carlsbad hasn’t posted since October, but their previous posts were engaging. In August 2021, they posted that they were looking for a spa coordinator. This post seems a little tacky to me and I would not post job openings on my Facebook business page.
5. Flourish by Blues and Shoe's page has potential, but they do not sell any items on their page. Additionally, some of their pictures seem unprofessional. They lack style and polish.
6. The Lovely Little Ladies, Salon, Spa & Celebrations page opens with a popup encouraging customers to message them with any questions directly through the popup window. I really like this feature because it feels interactive. Their “About Me” is informative and feels up to date. The pictures are professional (for the most part), and the overall impression is cohesive.
7. The Goods Carlsbad is a doughnut store, but their cover
photo is of their bathroom floor. It is a pretty floor tiled in pennies, but it
doesn’t make me think yum. With so many delicious doughnut pictures, I feel it
is an error not to use one for the cover. Otherwise, the page is ok. Some nice
pictures a great video, and a nice story on the owners. I would like to include
a video on my business page.
